Graduate diploma does not necessarily represent skills and ability; therefore, newly inaugurated Civil Servants (PNS) of Ministry of State Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat are told to keep learning and building self-improvement.
The statement was enunciated by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno on Tuesday (12/21) during the inauguration of 106 Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) to be Civil Servants (PNS) at Ministry of State Secretariat’s Hall in Jakarta.
For the record, the inauguration of Civil Servants of Ministry of State Secretariat and Cabinet Secretariat is carried out based on Decree of Minister of State Secretary Number 270 of 2021 promulgated on December 1, 2021.
Pratikno further said that newly-inaugurated Civil Servants must be able to anticipate any changes amid global disruption and uncertainties.
Moreover, Pratikno also called on them to be able to learn brand new things both independently as well as by joining trainings given that a lot of things have not been written in the books, a lot of things have not been taught by teachers, lecturers, and widyaiswara (civil servants’ educators).
On that occasion, Pratikno also underscored the importance of proficiency of foreign language in face of globalization and global competition considering the interaction among countries all around the globe will be intensifier.
Furthermore, Pratikno told all newly-inaugurated Civil Servants to work smart, productively supported by the use of the current digital technology developments, adding that he also continues to encourage innovations in presidential institution. (TGH/UN) (AP/MUR)
